One Aussie radio host has revealed a handy Bunnings bargain that brought his tired timber fence back to life.

As any DIY dad or home reno hobbyist will know, Bunnings shelves are jam-packed with thousands of handy products perfect for sprucing up any aging Aussie property – if you know where to look.

But among this collection of tap fixtures and backyard seedlings, one Melbourne man has uncovered a seemingly little-known hack to give the classic Aussie timber fence a new lease on life.

Taking his discovery to TikTok, Triple M Breakfast Radio Host Jay Shipton asked when someone was going to tell him about this ‘miracle’ product – which only set him back $29.99.

“When was somebody going to tell me that when your fence looks old after a while — you know that grey colour? You know the one I’m talking about,” he said in a video posted online.

In the footage, he pans to his backyard fence which is looking a little discoloured and weathered.

“You can go to Bunnings and buy some stuff and spray on it and then you gurney it off and it looks f***king brand new again,” he continued.

“How do I not know this?”

The product in question is Miracle Brands 5L Outdoor Cleaner, which the product description claims is able to “lift dirt, clean stains and brighten surface”.

The cleaner also says it “wipes out stains from algae, mould and mildew for up to 6 months.”

Showcasing the impressive end result to the camera, a chuffed Shipton only had two words to say: “Good stuff”.

Fellow Aussies were just as impressed, with many taking to the comment section saying they were sure to pick up the product on their next Bunnings run.

“Wow that’s amazing,” commented one viewer.

“I was looking at that stuff to clean the outside of the house,” said another.

“Never knew this,” a third Aussie admitted.
