And the Bluetti’s latest portable power station is certainly the latter.
Waterproof, dustproof and able to produce 3,600W of power, the Bluetti AC240 has all the foundations in place to become the industry leader of tradie generators.
Designed for the most rugged of Aussie environments, this go-anywhere power source is practically indestructible thanks to its resilience against wild weather, mud, dust and even salt corrosion.
With a standard 2400W rated power output, the station can be turbo-boosted into “powerlifting mode” at the flick of a switch, enabling it to fuel even the most power-hungry tools.
The AC240 acts as an onsite energy grid for circular saws, grinders and electric drills while also having the ability to work at home power hogs such as refrigerators, air conditioning and even tumble dryers.

But it’s the power station’s unique recharging capability that really puts it at the top of the trade.
Compatible with a set of solar panels, the power generator can stay juiced on the move or in the most remote environments to ensure work can be powered through until completion.
The panels allow for a max solar input of 1200W, which can be topped up with a connection to a wall outlet, car charger or even a lead-acid battery.
For those in a rush an 80 per cent AC power outlet charge will take the unit only 45 minutes to complete.
Meanwhile, the system can also be controlled by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth from anywhere in the range.
However, the power generator isn’t without its downsides, with the kit’s base model costing a whopping $2499, which rises to $4695 for its most powerful solar panel package.
