A record-breaking construction expo will take place in London later this year, making it the largest building show in British history.

As a leading voice in the construction industry, Build-it is proud to announce our role as the global media partner for London Build 2024, strapping on our tool belts to build up for a successful event.

The partnership marks an exciting expansion of Build-it’s international presence following the successful coverage of Sydney Build in May this year. Build-it promises to bring unparalleled insights and industry updates to our audience ahead of the record-breaking event.

Double the size of previous London Build editions, the expo will showcase some of the most significant trends, innovations, and developments within the construction sector in the UK and worldwide.

The two-day event will take place in both the Grand and National Halls at the iconic Olympia London in West Kensington, which has been holding Britain’s biggest expo events since 1886.

Over 35,000 attendees and more than 700 incredible speakers across 12 CPD stages will join 450 exhibitors on November 20-21, with networking parties, speed networking, buyer meets, endless entertainment, DJs, and live music throughout the festival of construction.

Meanwhile, next door at the London National Hall, the London Build Fire & Security Expo will take over Olympia in 2024 in its dedicated show.

The dedicated display will feature more than one hundred additional exhibitors showcasing the latest cutting-edge technologies and solutions to fire safety and security, as well as thought leaders and industry experts discussing the importance of fire safety and the latest developments within the building security sector.

Many companies attending the event have a presence both down under and in the UK, with Build-it looking forward to hearing from the cousins of some of our industry leaders.

Meanwhile, the two-day event offers a great opportunity for Aussie tradies on vacation to learn and connect with those within the British construction industry.

One of those planning to attend is construction management software group PlanRadar, who also featured at Sydney Build, telling Build-it that the annual event was a day to mark on the calendar after prior years’ success.

“That was the best show for us this year by far… this is the flagship event of the year for PlanRadar in the UK,” a spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, fire containment experts Quelfire say they hope to be better prepared for the event’s huge crowds this year after having their stand engulfed with potential clients in 2023.

“The show opened at 9:30 am, and the team couldn’t even take lunch; we had that many people at our stand. We have already booked a bigger and better space for (2024),” they said.

Norwegian EV charging manufacturer Zaptec says London Build is the place to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and conversations with the industry’s best.

“Great atmosphere and lots of valuable conversations with decision makers!” they said of last year’s event.
