From Mazda’s Bt-50 to the Nissan Navara, Australia’s most popular tradie utes have had sticker prices slashed ahead of the EOFY.
Whether you’re an apprentice looking for something shinier to pick your girlfriend up from high school in or a small business thinking about updating your fleet of tradie trucks to tackle your next construction contract, EOFY is the perfect time to pick up that ute you’ve been eyeing up for a fraction of the cost.
Up until June 30, the biggest names in the automobile industry will be slashing prices across the board as they push last year’s models out the door to make room on the showroom floor.
With a range of finance offers and driveaway deals already being announced for both private buyers and ABN holders, here’s everything we know about this year’s EOFY deals.
Nissan Navara deals
Until June 30 2024 Nissan has discounted its Navara 4×4 Pro-4X auto from $78,272 down to $63,490 for private buyers and ABN holders.
Customers who order the 4×4 Pro-4X auto, or its cheaper cousin, the ST, between now and June 30 2024, will also have access to a 1.9 per cent finance rate, with driveaway deals offered on other Navara models.
Mazda BT-50 deals
While Mazda isn’t offering up any offers for private buyers, subbies or trade businesses with ABN can grab a driveaway discount on the BT-50.
Until June 30, customers can grab the BT-50 XT 4×4 dual cab manual for only $49,990 (down from $52,730) and the auto model for $64,670 (down from $68,000).
SsangYong Musso deals
SsangYong Australia, responsible for the award-winning Musso dual cab ute range, is currently offering up to $3000 off for customers purchasing privately or $6000 for tradies with an ABN.
This includes the popular Musso Adventure, Musso Ultimate Musso ELX and all of its kitted-out variants.
Unlike other dealers, this “limited time” offer doesn’t have an expiry date, instead only being offered “while stocks last”.
GWM Ute Cannon Deals
Great Wall Motors has a range of offers available until June 30 for tradies looking to buy the popular GWM Ute Cannon.
Ranging from $34,999 to $48,990 for more feature-packed models, the 2023 builds can net tradies and other private buyers alike up to $4000 off the driveaway price across the board, including the top-of-the-line Cannon XSR.
Mitsubishi Triton deals
Mitsubishi is currently running offers on selected of their latest-gen 2024 Triton, dropping prices down to $48,820 for the GLX and to $69,950 for the GSR.
For tradies looking to pick up a previous-gen Triton, the company says customers should enquire with their local dealership to confirm stock availability.
Buyers of some selected Triton 4×4 dual-cab utes could also receive a free towing pack on purchase, which includes a tow bar kit and an electronic brake controller.
Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 deals
While even the starter US-inspired Ram trucks still rank among some of the most expensive utes on the road (starting slightly north of $100k), Ram Trucks Australia is offering tradies a no-deposit 4.99 per cent “mates rates” finance offer for new 1500, 2500, and 3500 models sold up until June 30 2024.
This finance offer would mean massive savings over anyone picking up a typical 12.29 per cent loan. However, it will require a valid ABN that must be approved by the dealership.
