Red Roosters’ Christmas candle looks and smells just like fried chicken

Red Rooster has been cooking up something special this festive season – but it’s not the famous finger-licking fried chicken the brand is known for.

In a surprising holiday twist, the Aussie chicken chain has instead teamed up with Angel Aromatics to make buying a present deliciously easy with a set of candles that look—and smell—exactly like fried chicken.

While they don’t pack the same taste as the brand’s famous fried combo pack, the candles do promise to bring that classic Aussie chicken shop scent of sizzling spicy wings and chicken salt into your home kitchen, which is sure to spark some cravings for a chicken feed.

And it isn’t just the smell. The novelty fried chicken candles also replicate the exact look of Red Rooster’s famous three-piece fried chicken pack, including two large drumsticks and one small wrapped up in one of the brand’s iconic takeaway boxes.

They look ‘almost’ good enough to bite, although the big “DO NOT EAT” warning on the side tells me that’s probably not a good idea.

If the smell does stir up some peckish thoughts though, the candles do come complete with a voucher for free regular chips from any Red Rooster store, which is a gift in itself.

And best of all, these ‘Fried Lights Chicken Candles’ will fit into most Secret Santa budgets.

Costing only $29.95, you can buy a set of these fried chicken candles for the whole crew to keep the fried chicken feels burning bright on site all the way up to Christmas.

If you’re looking at a budget of $50 or more, you could even pair the set of candles with other Red Rooster merch, like some thongs or these groovy $10 ‘Reds sunnies’.

Or if you know a fried chicken fiend who can’t go past a Rooster Roll or a quarter chicken and chips, why not go all out and pair the candles with this stylish Red Rooster onesie?

Just remember to get in quick. These fried chicken candles are only available for a limited time during December and are already flying off store shelves.

You can find them for purchase via Red Rooster’s official website or their social media pages.
