Attendees of the upcoming Sydney Build Expo will get a sneak peek into upcoming government projects and regulatory frameworks as part of an exciting new exhibition.

Australia’s largest building and construction expo is preparing for its largest crowd to date, with a prominent lineup of over one thousand exhibitors and esteemed speakers set to feature across the two-day event.

More than 20,000 attendees will descend on the ICC Sydney for the occasion, with visitors among the first to discover upcoming NSW Government project proposals and regulatory changes which could bring opportunities to their sector.

The expo’s new Government Hubs will showcase a distinguished list of speakers from both local and international government bodies, giving guests a chance to meet, chat and network among officials and industry-relevant government departments.

There will even be the opportunity to express interest in upcoming projects as governments prepare and look for construction partners ahead of the next stage of our housing and infrastructure construction boom.

The landmark event will see speakers take to more than 15 conference stages across six exhibition halls with the chance to hear from representatives of The Committee for Sydney, The Ministry of Planning, SafeWork NSW, Transport NSW, Property and Development NSW, NSW Public Works, Commercial Property and Development NSW, and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and more.

Meanwhile, a list of government exhibitors includes Building Commission NSW, the Australian Building Codes Board and Homes NSW

However, it will be more than domestic opportunities and planning on show at Sydney Build, with an International Government Hub providing the perfect platform for businesses aiming to expand their presence overseas.

Construction industry professionals will have the chance to discover upcoming project tender opportunities globally and connect with international partners for import and export.

The International Hub will feature government officials from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, The Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Australia-Vietnam Business Council, Finland Australia Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish-Australian Chamber of Commerce and more.
