Australia’s construction community has their alarms set ahead of a hotly anticipated Black Friday sale bonanza, with tradies and DIY enthusiasts set to make the most of a toolbox of savings this weekend.

Australia’s biggest hardware and home improvement retailers are sawing through prices on the latest tools, tech and equipment to spark inspiration towards those dream home renovations.

And with tradies no stranger to an early start, some retailers have decided to nail down the deals a day early, beating the weekend’s bargain rush.

Bunnings Warehouse is helping homeowners get their garden summer ready with huge discounts on robotic pool cleaners, fire pits, lawnmowers and even an outdoor bar table esky.

Meanwhile, tradies will wrench in the savings on saw stands, battery packs, drills and industrial vacuum cleaners.

Bunnings Director of Merchandise Jen Tucker told Build-it the retailer was sawing through prices on a special range of limited stock items ahead of Black Friday.

“With many turning their attention to prepping their home for summer as the weather warms up, some of our top picks from our Black Friday range include a three-in-one bar table, digital bladeless fan, Ryobi wet and dry vacuum and Ozito cordless drill and blower kit,” she said.

“These are just a few picks our customers can expect from our special Black Friday range, now available online and in-store.”

Bunnings have also promises to take a sledgehammer to the price of any stocked item cheaper elsewhere, beating it regardless of whether the item is part of the Black Friday sales.

“When we say lowest, we mean it, and that includes Black Friday,” they stated.

“Where you find a competitor’s lower price on the same in-stock item, we’ll beat it by 10%.”

Electronics retailer The Good Guys says Black Friday is the perfect opportunity for Build-it readers to “tech the halls” by getting a head start on the Christmas shopping.

“Black Friday is the perfect time to shop for Christmas,” they said.

“We normally have Black Friday deals starting anytime from the week before, so it’s always worth popping in and seeing what we’ve got going.”

Some great deals include massive discounts on Dyson products, including vacuums, hair dryers and fans.

Prices have also been slashed on televisions, sound systems, headphones and phones, making it the perfect opportunity for gift shopping.

A Good Guys spokesperson told Build-it customers could expect more electrifying deals and discounts over the weekend, with some already available.

“We have some early Black Friday deals which have been released on our website,” they said.

“We will be releasing more Black Friday deals throughout the duration of our Black Friday sale.”

For those looking to hammer home the savings on new white goods, online retailer Appliances Online will release deals until Cyber Monday.

The discount digital retailer has up to $900 off on top-brand washing machines and dryers, including brands such as Euromaid and Bosch and Haier.

While customers also saving more than $1000 off fridges and freezers.

“Black Friday may sound like a one-day event, but for many retailers, it goes for several days, so brace yourself for some amazing deals!” Appliances Online states.
